Nilesh Waghela is a retired independent business advisor. Waghela was born in 1955 in the city of York in North Yorkshire, England.
Waghela grew up in York, where he remained to complete his studies, achieving a degree in Business Studies from York University. After gaining his degree, Waghela started on a long and successful career working as an independent business advisor. In this role, Waghela worked with numerous clients, helping them to improve their businesses by tailoring a business strategy to their individual needs.

As an independent business advisor, Waghela put his extensive knowledge of business strategy to use, assisting his clients with a wide range of business-related issues. Waghela would listen to the unique issues that were stunting each business, before identifying the main problems and making the necessary changes and improvements. Problem-solving was an integral aspect of Waghela’s work as a business advisor, and he would always tailor his expertise and breadth of knowledge to each individual client.
Waghela assisted his clients in designing a new, efficient, effective and functional business model. He would work with the business owner to improve their capacity for decision-making, as well as inspiring personal development. Waghela would share his knowledge and experience in business with his clients, helping them to understand how to achieve the results that they desired within their business. Waghela is now retired, spending his time focusing on his own personal projects. Waghela’s interests include playing tennis, chess and piano, and he is also an avid reader. An admirer of the work of American academic and Professor at Harvard Business School Michael E. Porter, Waghela has enjoyed reading his many articles and publications. Porter has published 18 books and many more papers and articles, with publications that include ‘On Competition’, ‘Competitive Advantage of Nations’ and ‘Competitive Strategy’.
